It's Been A Great Holiday!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I HOPE YOU LIKE WHAT I GOT YOU FOR CHRISTMAS!

Good Morning Holiday Family and Merry Christmas!  I have had such a great time with you all this year!  Thank you for letting me come to stay with you over the last month.  I really enjoyed myself (and I know you did too!)  I will miss you all so much and I hope to be able to visit you again next holiday season!  For now, it's back to the Pole to spend some quality time with my family and friends celebrating Christmas and the New Year.  Then it'll be back to training  the new recruits!  C & T:  I'll be able to check in with you from time to time throughout the year and make sure you are being good.  Remember to do your very best in school and obey your Mom & Dad and be kind and loving to one another.  You are amazing kids and it shows!  I love you all very much!

Love,
Ollie Bojingles

P.S.  Remember, you can send me an email anytime you want!  I love to get email!  And don't forget to check my blog because I'll be blogging every once in a while to keep you updated on what's going on at the Pole!

Wrapping it up with a little Reading

I thought I'd spend tonight reading one of my favorite books, "Twas the Night Before Christmas".  I really love this book.  It's a wonderful story!  I settled in on the couch in the living room with my book after I used up some of my extra wrapping paper.  I hope my Holiday Family can get to me!

Don't forget to leave cookies and milk out for The Jolly Guy tonight!  He'll be coming to deliver his presents and take me back to the Pole.

Adding Some Color

Decorated the house tonight.... with post-it notes!  They were so colorful and pretty.  They looked like they belonged on display.  So, I hung them all over the house!

Don't worry C & T... I personally hand-delivered your letters to The Jolly Guy.  He was so happy to see that you had written to him!  He said he was getting worried that you wouldn't write at all this year.  He even commented that he has been pleased with the reports I've been turning in to him every night!  Way to go C & T!

Santa is Coming

I can't believe it's this close to Christmas and the boys haven't even left their letters to The Jolly Guy out for me to deliver to the North Pole!  Only 3 days left and STILL no letters!  Remember kids, if you want me to take the letters to the Pole, you've got to leave them in my sleigh bed so I know exactly where they are!
Tonight I played in T's room.  He's been camping in C's room since Christmas break began.  I found this railing off of his bed to make a great slide!  What fun!

I'm finally feeling well enough (after feeling under the weather for a couple of days) to eat some serious candy!  Thank you to the nice person who left the grape Nerds in my sleigh bed a few days ago!  I ate them tonight, and they were so delicious!  And what a nice job you boys did decorating the mirror in the bathroom!  Thank you for the nice note... I love you too!

My Creative Side

Tonight I decided to explore my creative side.  I made art!  I sure hope Holiday Mom & Dad don't mind me coloring on the mirrors!  But, it was all for the sake of art!  What a blast I had drawing pictures for my Holiday Family.  I really hope they like it!

Christmas is getting so close and I still haven't seen the kids I'm watching write a single note to Santa.  I hope they write something up soon so I can get it back to the Pole!  In a short while The Jolly Guy will be on his way.

Deal Me In!

Well, I took the Doctor's advice and I have started to feel better.  Still have a sniffle, but I'm not feeling too bad.  The Doctor said it was probably just a 24 hour bug.

My Holiday Family had a party Saturday night at the house.  I'm not sure what the theme was, but Holiday Mom was decked out in fancy jewelry and she had a big bow in her hair and her hair was sticking up in the front.  She kept saying funny words like "rad" and "tubular".  It sounded like everyone was having a great time eating candy (yum!!) and playing games.  After everyone left and my Holiday Family went to bed, I decided to play a little poker.  I'm not very good at it yet, but I was doing alright.  I had fun, and that's what matters!

And tonight  I made some beautiful snow angels on the dining room table.  I love making snow angels!

Not Feeling Well

I'm not feeling well this evening.  I think I might have caught Holiday Mom's cold.  Plus, it was very chilly tonight when we went to see the Christmas lights.  I went to see the Head Elf Doctor back at the Pole and he suggested I take it easy tonight and get some rest.  He said to take some medicine and check back with him tomorrow.  I sure hope I feel better by Saturday because I overheard my Holiday Family talking about having a  party at the house!

Mystery Destination

I had a lot to do at the North Pole tonight.  While I was sitting at my desk, looking out the window at all the beautiful snow and lights and decorations, it made me think of something fun I like to do with my Holiday Family.  So, I left them an envelope with a note inside giving them the coordinates to a mystery destination.  Some place fun to go as a family and hopefully they'll remember to take me along!  Trouble is... I can't seem to remember where I left the envelope!  Let's see, I know I was playing with matchbox cars in T's room, and legos in C's room.  I remember being in the living room because Cooper was letting me ride on his back but he started running and I fell off in the kitchen.  I still had the envelope while I was in the kitchen but I heard a strange sound coming from behind the closet doors and I went to investigate.  That's the last time I saw the envelope.  Hmmmm.... I wonder where I left it.

A Nice Quiet Evening

I had a nice quiet evening here tonight.  Just read some books and had a candy cane.  It was very relaxing and just what I needed after all the running around I did Tuesday night with Lanny.  I brought the boys a new book.  It's a look and find book and I hope they really like it.

A Great Concert

I had such a good time tonight with my cousin, Lanny.  We are both elves visiting Holiday families in the same town and we both had children to watch in a Christmas program tonight.  So, I hid in the back of my Holiday family's truck when they were busy getting ready for the concert.  When we got there and they went inside, I borrowed their truck to pick up Lanny.  We snuck into the theater and found a place in the balcony with a perfect view of the stage.  We watched T sing with the 1st graders (I really liked the song about the pony).  And we watched P sing with the 3rd graders (loved the Frosty the Snowman).  We watched C singing about the 12 days of Christmas (he was one of the 10 leaping Lords).  They all did a really great job!  We were so impressed with the concert!  Just before the final bow, we hurried outside and jumped in the truck so I could get Lanny home.  We were in such a hurry with Lanny at the foot pedals and me at the wheel, that I'm afraid we created some accidental mischief along the way!  We bumped into a trash can and drove through part of someone's yard.  I think we even took a corner too fast and nearly hit a squirrel!  Thank goodness he was quick to get out of the way!  But, Lanny made it home safely and I made it back to the theater before anyone knew.  C & T were so surprised to find me in the truck after the concert.  I think they almost busted my ear drum because they were screaming so loudly!  What fun we have!  Just got into a little mischief tonight at home.  I wanted to see how big of a tower I could make out of the cans from the pantry.  Not bad, if I do say so myself!

Gone Fishing

I had such a good time with the zip line last night!  I played all day long while my Holiday family was gone!  I was also excited to see that I have received some Christmas cards from some of my friends who are visiting elves this year.  I got a card from my friends, Jingle and Jangle in Virginia.  And I got a card from all of my elf friends visiting the Allen family in South Carolina.  They even sent me a wonderful Christmas ornament with my name on it, which I hung on the Christmas tree.

Tonight I decided to relax and do a little fishing.  Back at the Pole, we elves go ice fishing sometimes.  It's a fun hobby to enjoy but tonight I just went Gold Fishing.  It was still a really good time and I got to eat my catch right away!

P.S.  Good luck C & T at your Holiday Concert at the Palace Theater!  I bet you will sing wonderfully!  I might even sneak out to the show if I have time to watch you guys!

A Great Way to Travel

Wow!  What a great party the North Pole elves threw last night!  We had tons of party snacks and an endless supply of hot chocolate with giant marshmallows!  There was music and dancing and all night fun!  I didn't even get back to my Holiday home until 5:30 this morning!  I was so tired, I just went right to bed.  I went out to the garage tonight to see if there was any fun I could get into, and I found some interesting things out there.  This green string rope caught my eye and I knew exactly what I could do with it!

I made zip line!  And, WOW, what a great way to travel.

I'm going to make a few more passes tonight before my Holiday family wakes up!  Wish me luck... Here I goooooooooo!

Early Mischief

It's time for our annual "2 week countdown" party at the North Pole tonight!  It's the night we elves celebrate the fact that there's only 2 weeks left until Christmas!  Last year I missed the party, but I'm gonna make sure I go this year!  When I woke up, the house was empty except for the dog and cat.  So, I was able to get into some mischief before I left!  I couldn't find the kid's little Christmas trees for their bedrooms last night, so I brought new ones for them.  They are so pretty.  The lights on them change color!  Well, I'm going to go enjoy the party but I'll be back at my holiday home later tonight!

Camping In!

When I woke up tonight, I noticed that the boys of the house had set up their tent for another camp-in.  Since I didn't want to wake them, I tip-toed past the tent and into my North Pole door.  When I got done with my reports and made it back to the house, I tip-toed back to the tent and peeked inside and... they weren't even in there!  No kids in sight!  It was as if they had simply abandoned the tent right there in the living room!  Well, I couldn't just let that great tent and that fun camp-in go to waste, could I?  So, I had myself a nice little camp-in of my own!  What fun it was!  I even roasted marshmallows!  Yum!  Now I understand why these boys like sleeping in their tent so much!

Movie Night

I decided to sit back and relax tonight and watch a few of my favorite movies.  Of course I had some popcorn and candy to munch on.

I brought a brand new movie from the North Pole for the boys I'm staying with to watch.  I really like the movie I brought for them.  I just finished watching it and I have one more movie to go... Elf!

Hide & Seek

Tonight we had a really fun game of hide & seek!

All I have to say is, boy-oh-boy, these guys are good at hiding!

I had such a tough time finding them.

I looked high and low and I finally found them all... EXCEPT for Hippity-Hop!  He is just too good at hiding!  I hope C & T can find him because I've been looking all night and I'm getting tired!  I'm going to make one more sweep of the house and then I'm going to put myself to bed.  Good luck boys!

A little Computer Time

Tonight I just relaxed and played some computer games online.  I really like to play solitare, mahjong, and of course any Christmas type games!

I also changed the background pictures on all of the computers in the house.  I made them more festive.  I hope the family doesn't mind.  I had some hot chocolate and a cupcake, too.  I also played with the dog, Cooper.  He sure is a fun dog.  Overall, it was a good night!

That's a wrap

I just love wrapping gifts!
I hope the boys I'm staying with will enjoy what I wrapped for them!
I found things that I know they use every day!  So, I'm sure they'll love their gifts!

I even found things to wrap for Holiday Mom & Holiday Dad!  But I got a little wrapped up in what I was doing!
I really hope they like their presents.  I carefully placed them under the tree.  But, I can't remember where I put the other gifts I wrapped.  I think I put them in a closet inside big gift sacks.  I'm sure they'll find them!
