A Night All To Myself

Well, tonight I woke up early.  The house was empty except for Cooper and Melanie.  I have no idea where they went but I was excited to have a night to relax after my grand night of fun with Lanny.  But I still had a little pranking fun while they were gone.  I gave Holiday Mom's photographs a little elf tweaking.
I also wanted to let my elf friends Jingle, Jangle, Fred, Neeve and Mabel know that I got their holiday card in the mail and just loved it.  I'm glad they are having a good time visiting their holiday family in Virginia.

Double Trouble

My holiday family had a guest spend the night tonight... their cousin P.  And along with cousin P came my elf cousin Lanny.  It was so nice to see my cousin again.  The whole family went out tonight and while they were gone, Lanny and I sat down to have dinner together.  We tried some pizza, but it wasn't as sweet as we like our food.  But the soda we had was delicious.  We chatted about the pranks we've been pulling and just had a good time.  Then we had even more fun after everyone was asleep.  We got into all sorts of trouble.  The boys left us a note daring us to cause as much trouble as we possibly could... so we thought we'd just go ahead and do that.  Check out what we accomplished.
We did some tree climbing...

Played some drums...

Shot some hoops....

Climbed to the ceiling...

Took a snooze in the stockings...

Took the car out for a spin to pick up some donuts for breakfast.  We had little trouble parking the car once we got back home.  Hope they don't mind where we put it...

And even took a tumble in the dryer...

We had such a great time together.  It's sad to see it come to an end.  But, we know we'll see each other again soon at the Pole after Christmas.

My New Friends

Tonight I found another Christmas card in my sleigh from my elf friend Jingle.  He's visiting a family in Canada this year.  He sent me a very nice card with confetti inside and a really cool balloon with maple leaves printed on it.  I couldn't resist... I blew it up.

And was having a great time playing balloon volleyball with Rudy when we found a box of Star Wars legos that looked like fun.  We opened the box and started playing with the legos and we created these cool little guys with the parts.  We really wanted to play with these little guys because they looked like so much fun.  So, I used some of my special powder to make them come to life for the night.  Little did we know.... there are more of these little lego guys hiding out upstairs in C's room.  Well, needless to say, we had a great night playing "capture the balloon" (it's like capture the flag, but we wanted to use my new balloon and a halloween balloon we found).  I guess you can see from the picture Rudy took... our balloon was captured.
 And AAAHHHH.... so was I.
I also found T's letter to Santa.  I read it and had some time to send Santa a message letting him know a little about his letter.  Santa promised to send Holiday Mom an email containing a special surprise for T right from Santa himself.  And he also said C should get his letter started soon too.  Christmas is coming soon.

Setting up the Christmas trees

I woke up tonight to find another Christmas card from some of my elf friends.  Jingle-Jangle, Merry and Bertie are elves visiting a family in the UK for the holiday season.  I just loved their card... it was so cute.  I decided to help my holiday family decorate their upstairs tonight.  I put up the little Christmas trees in the kid's rooms.
And Rudy and I even convinced Cooper to help us get the trees upstairs.
He carried me on his back while I held onto the trees to drag them up.  We made sure we gave him a treat for his help.  And they sure looked good when they were set up.  (you can't see it in the pictures Rudy took with holiday Mom's camera... but there are color changing lights on the tips of the branches.  It's so cool.)
Ready for the Jolly Guy's arrival soon!

A Sleigh Ride

Tonight I thought I'd go for a sleigh ride.  After all, that's what makes my bed so very cool.  It's also a form of transportation as well as a comfy place to sleep.  We had lots of fun driving around the house.  We even went down the stairs a couple of times.  The only thing that would have been better, would have been if there had been snow to drive the sleigh through.  We still had fun.  I overheard my holiday family talking about someone spending the night on Friday.  And, I'm pretty sure I heard them say Lanny was coming.  I really hope I heard them correctly because Lanny is my cousin and it would be so nice to see him.

Happy Birthday

Today was my Birthday.  I went home to see my Mom, Dad and Brother for my birthday celebration.  My brother made me a very nice birthday card and my Dad gave me a new toy.  I can't give out any more description than that since it's a prototype toy that the research & development elves are considering for next year.  (my Dad is on the new toy research & development team at the Pole)  And my Mom made me my favorite Peppermint Pie.  She makes the best Peppermint Pie in all of the North Pole. (even Mrs. Claus agrees) She even baked me an extra pie to bring home to my holiday family.  She thought they would enjoy having a slice or two to try.  When I got back, some of my friends were downstairs ready to celebrate with me.  We had such a great time tonight.  We kept the music volume down so we wouldn't wake anyone but we couldn't help how loud we were laughing a few times.  I'm sure I'll be needing plenty of sleep.

A Winter Wonderland

Well, Holiday Mom & Dad have been busy decorating this weekend.  They have decorated the outside of the house with lights and done quite a bit of decorating inside as well.  Holiday Mom placed some cinnamon scented pinecones around the house, and boy does it smell wonderful.  Just like home.  It looks so beautiful.  It's just missing a few small things.... some snowflakes.  I'm very used to having plenty of snow around and there isn't any here in Ohio (yet).  So, I decided to create my own as a special treat for my holiday family.

P.S.  It's officially my birthday as I'm writing this.  December 5th.  I'm so excited.  I am going home tonight to see my mom, dad and brother for my birthday celebration.  My mom makes the best Peppermint Pie and I'm hoping she's made one for my birthday.

Christmas Mail

I woke up tonight and found a really nice surprise in my sleigh bed.  It was a Christmas greeting card from my elf friends Jingle, Jangle, Holly & Berry.  They are North Pole elves visiting Queensland Australia this holiday season.  It was so kind of them to send me holiday wishes.  I mailed out all of my Christmas greetings last week from my holiday home here in Ohio.
Tonight I had fun planning my next trick on my holiday family.  I'm sure they won't have a hard time finding this trick.  They should run right into it first thing in the morning.

Having a Great time

I am having a great time visiting my holiday family this year.  I've been snooping around and noticed that they haven't really decorated for the season yet besides putting up the Christmas tree.  I hope they decide to put a few more decorations out before the Jolly Guy comes for a visit.  While I was looking for some more decorations to put out and I found this interesting item in the closet.  I knew exactly what to do with it.
Rock Climbing !

I didn't want to look down... but I had so much fun.
Thank you for the Smarties candies you left in my sleigh bed.  They were delicious.  I don't care for bacon (unless it's coated in candy sprinkles and dipped in syrup) but I gave the piece you left me to Cooper for a treat.  He's been so nice to me since I got here.

Back in Ohio!

Well, I'm back visiting my favorite holiday family in Ohio tonight.  And, I'll be here throughout the season.  I am so excited to spend the days leading up to Christmas here again.  I always have such a great time with my holiday family.  It was a quite a journey here with my sleigh bed and I'm rather tired after my travels, but I set up the new advent calendar for them.
And the youngest boy, "T", left me a very nice note.  (Did you know he knows that 24x3=72.  He's growing up so fast.  The older boy, "C", must have grown about a foot taller since last year.  I've missed them all so much and I'm just glad to be back.
