Special Delivery

Headed out to The Pole tonight with T's letter to Santa. Thanks T for getting that done and placing it in my bed. It has been safely delivered to The Jolly Guy and is currently under review. (I did happen to catch a glimpse at T's name on the list... looks like he's set on Nice right now! Way to go T!) This is the last week of school for C & T before Christmas break. I bet they'll be so excited to have a nice long break. Make it a good week boys!

While I was at The Pole, I picked up a game to bring back to play with my friends. It's a lot of fun. We play it quite often back home. I noticed tonight that Holiday Mom, Holiday Dad, and T were playing the new card games I brought them. Isn't Reindeer Rummy fun?! I love that game. I also love the Crazy 8's game as well. Hopefully my Holiday family will enjoy playing this game, too.

Annual Movie Night

Tonight was my annual movie night at my Holiday Family's home. I got out all of the Christmas movies and some candy and cozied up on the couch with friends for a nice Christmas movie marathon. It was fun... just like always. I snuggled up under my blanket and just relaxed. I heard T talking to Holiday Mom about going to the movies this weekend. There's a new Hobbit movie out and the boys really want to see it. I hope they get to go see the movie! Maybe they'll take me along!

Feeling Under the Weather

Tonight I attended C's orchestra Christmas concert. I hopped into Holiday Mom's camera bag and was able to catch the whole show! No one even noticed me poking my head out of the bag. C did a very nice job. The Christmas music was beautiful and, of course, is my favorite music of all... especially when C plays it on his viola.

It is very cold here in Ohio, and I'm afraid I've come down with a bit of the sniffles. I headed back to The Pole to see the doctor. He advised me to stay in bed tonight, take some cold medicine and rest... No Mischief... doctor's orders. Oh well, I suppose it's best to follow the doctor's instructions and get over these sniffles sooner. I'm off to bed for a long winter's nap!

Wiggly Eyes for Everyone

Well, everyone was ready to have fun tonight! We started the night off by jumping on the couch to see how high we could go. That was a lot of fun... Until Rudy fell off the couch. He's alright though. Didn't break any bones (or antlers). He laughed about it but we decided maybe jumping on the couch wasn't such a great idea after all.

 I found some really funny eyes in Holiday Mom's crafting supplies. They are called wiggly eyes. Boy, are they hilarious. We tried holding them up to our own eyes, but it's impossible to see where you are going. I thought it would be fun to see what my Holiday Family looks like with them on. We tried to put them on C & T while they were sleeping but the eyes aren't sticky on the back so we couldn't get them to stay put. Then, Rudy had the great idea to try putting tape on the back of the eyes! Voila! It worked! I was afraid if we tried to tape the eyes to C & T, they would wake up... so we did the next best thing. We put wiggly eyes on their pictures! HA HA HA! They are so funny looking! I put wiggly eyes here and there in the house... I even put wiggly eyes on some of Holiday Mom's Christmas decorations. I wonder if she'll notice.

Playing Cards

Well my prank was a big success! The boys woke up and couldn't get dressed because I had swapped their clothes! I put all of C's clothes in T's closet and moved T's clothes to C's closet. Then I hid in T's closet to see his reaction. It was hilarious! What a great prank. Thanks Holiday Mom for moving all the clothes back to their correct location while the boys were at school.

It's hard to believe it's only 2 weeks until Christmas! I'm so excited! I noticed my Holiday Family has put up their second Christmas tree in the back room of their house. It's such a great tree. Just full of all sorts of special ornaments that C & T have made at school or ornaments that just have special meaning. I was very happy to see that they put the ornaments I have given to the boys each year on this special tree. It really made me smile.

Tonight we decided to take it easy. I brought some card games from The Pole for my Holiday Family, so we decided to give them a try. They are really very fun games. I hope my Holiday Family can use them during family game night sometime.

Playing Pranks

I didn't have a whole lot to do tonight. I was at The Pole for quite a long time. Serious problems with some visiting elves staying in Switzerland this year. Big trouble. Seems they got into some mischief that was a little rowdy and broke a very lovely glass statue that belonged to their Holiday Mom. She was not pleased with the elves and demanded they return to The Pole. Of course this upset the elves and naturally The Jolly Guy was displeased. He called me back to The Pole to deal with the "situation" since they were elves that I had trained. I smoothed things over and everything is in place now for the elves to return to their visiting home in Switzerland and everything will be alright. That was a close call.

Once I returned to Ohio, it was late and my friends were all too tired to play. So, I decided to just play my own practical joke on C & T. I'm pretty sure they will notice what I've done first thing in the morning. When they're trying to get dressed for school and they realized they have the wrong clothes in their closets. Hee Hee!! It will be so funny!

Sack Races

Tonight my friends and I had fun doing sack races. We tried to race around the entire downstairs in a giant loop, but it's a pretty big circle and we got tired. So we just decided to race from one end of the living room to the other. I won 2 races but Hippity-Hop won the most races. Which I guess isn't surprising since he's a frog! We all laughed and had lots of fun!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Made a Wicked Cup of Cocoa

It sure is cold here tonight in Ohio. Seemed like a nice night for some cocoa. I decided to get some out of the cupboard and make a nice steaming cup for myself. I found this fun cocoa set while I was looking through the house, but I didn't want to be rude use it first. I set it out so C & T would be able to enjoy a delicious cup of cocoa with marshmallows in the morning.

When It Snows, Make Snowmen

It has been snowing here in Ohio all day and there's a nice amount of snow on the ground now. It even caused C & T to have a day off of school. A snow day! And I love snow days. I decided to make some snowmen and bring a breakfast surprise for C & T at the same time. Hope you boys enjoy these snowmen!

Duck and Cover

Well, I couldn't believe how quickly C & T found my hiding spot! They are good at playing hide and seek... very impressive, boys! While I was hiding, I came across some very interesting toys that I thought would be fun to try out.  I see them being made all the time at The Pole.  They're very popular toys, but I've never really played with them. Tonight seemed like a good time to try them out and see what all the fuss is about.  NERF WAR!! And we had so much fun! Now I see why all the kids put these toys on their Christmas wish lists.  (Speaking of Christmas wish lists, don't forget to finish your lists for Santa so I can get them to The Pole!)

Hiding Out

My Holiday family finished decorating their Christmas tree today! Oh, it's so beautiful. They still haven't hung stockings on the mantle yet, but I'm sure they'll be doing that soon.

While I was exploring the house to find more Christmas decorations, I got the idea to play hide and seek with my friends. We played for hours, but during the last round we found Rudy ASLEEP in his hiding spot. I guess it took us too long to find him and he got sleepy. After that, we decided to quit playing and my friends went to bed. I, however, decided to hide one more time so that C & T could find me in the morning. So, good luck boys! I'll give you a hint about where I am going to hide:

Playing A New Game

My night started off wonderfully! I woke up and found I had received a Christmas card from some of my dear friends who are also visiting elves!  Thank you Jingle-Jangle, Bertie & Merry for the card!  I see that my Holiday family has really started decorating for Christmas now.  They put up lights outside and set the Christmas tree up.  It's looking good!  I found a new game in the house which I'm sure was made just for me!  It's called ladderball and I had such fun playing it tonight with my friends. 

Happy Birthday to Holiday Dad

The family celebrated Holiday Dad's birthday!  They went out to dinner and of course they had cake. Holiday Mom made a delicious german chocolate cake.  So, naturally, I had to have a taste of the sugary goodness! And sugary goodness it was!!  Yum!

I'll be in Ohio for Christmas

Hello my Holiday Family!  I'm back to spend another December visiting, watching your behavior for the Jolly Guy and reporting back to The Pole all my findings. I'm so excited to be visiting you all again this year. I brought an advent calendar for you. I hope you enjoy it. You will have to share, so make sure you alternate days with each other for the treat!  (The first day you can open two though since it's December 2nd.) Spending time with my Holiday Family is one of my most favorite things I do all year long!  But, I'm pretty tired from my travel so I'm going to hit the sleigh!
