Christmas Music

Tonight, "T" had a Christmas concert for his school.  So, of course, I had to sneak out of the house to see him sing!  I even rode in the van with them... and I don't even think they knew it!  I hid in the back behind the 3rd row of seats. Hee hee... I am a sneaky little elf.  I tried to sneak back into my bed when they got home, but I wasn't quick enough and ended up just sitting beside my bed.  "T" & "C" both saw that I wasn't in my bed... so, I think they knew I had been out and about.  The concert was wonderful!  I had such a great time listening to "T" sing with his classmates.  They sang 'Do You Hear What I Hear' and 'Feliz Navidad' and a couple of other catchy Christmas tunes... But, my favorite was 'Silent Night'... they learned how to do the song in sign language!  I was very very impressed.  It was beautiful to watch.  Way to go "T".  You did great!

On the way home, I heard "T" mention that it hadn't snowed yet.  And no snow means there's no snowman building going on.  So, I decided to build some for my Holiday Family.  I hope these little guys cheer you up about there being no snow.

Gotta Keep In Shape

Holiday Mom has been making a list of things she is planning on baking for the Christmas season.  I love holiday baking.  All the sweets and candy and sugar and icing and yummy goodness.  I need to keep in shape though in order to be able to eat so many sweets like I do all year long at The Pole.  I mean, we elves eat like it's Christmas year round.  Since I've been here at my Holiday Home, I haven't been working out much.  So, tonight I decided I'd do some catching up on my workouts.

Hey... I know what you're thinking.  Not too tough because I'm just lifting marshmallows.  But, I'll have you know... those are JUMBO LARGE marshmallows.  Yeah, who's tough now?!

Relaxing and crafting

Last night was so relaxing.  I spent quite a while in a nice marshmallow bath in Holiday Dad's bathroom sink.  So nice to have all that sugary goodness to enjoy.  I want to say a giant thank you to Holiday Dad for letting me use his sink even though it probably made it difficult for him to get ready for work in the morning.
I went back to the Pole tonight, as I do every night, to report to The Jolly Guy and I got to see my Mom & Dad for a little while.  We had some hot chocolate and peppermint cookies.  It was nice to see them.  They are toy makers, so this is a very busy time for them.  I was glad they had some time to visit with me and enjoy some goodies.  When I got back, I decided to make the boys a Christmas Countdown paper chain.  These paper chains are so easy to make and they are actually the way we elves keep track of how many days are left until Christmas at the Pole.  I hope they like it and remember to take a paper chain link off each day!

My friend Rudy is actually helping me make this chain. (He's also been taking pictures for me each night!)  He lives with the family all year long, but when I visit, I bring plenty of extra magic dust for him and some of my other friends.  Well, I'm going to finish this paper chain.  Rudy and I have several links to go before my Holiday Family gets up!
P.S.- Thank you for the candy corns in my bed!  They were so yummy!  I ate them as soon as I got up!  Delicious!
