I have a blog!

I can't believe it!  I have a blog!  I'm so excited!  Allow me to introduce myself... my name is Oliver Bojingles (Ollie for short) and I am a North Pole elf.  That's right, straight from Santa's place.  There are LOTS of us elves, but I am a special elf because I get to go on special missions during the holiday season.  I get to go visit families and make sure everything is going according to schedule for The Jolly Guy's arrival (and maybe I get into a little mischief of my own every once in a while.)  Last year I visited a very special family in Ohio.  They have 2 children, both are boys.  We'll call them "C" & "T" (because this is the internet and you can never be too careful when online).  They were really great!  I had such a blast at their house and I was very sad to go.  But, my job for the season was done and I really was excited to get back to the Pole with my friends and family.  Now we're just 3 months away from The Big Night and I'm so excited!  Because I did such a great job last year with "C" & "T", I was allowed to help train the new recruits for this holiday season!  What an honor!  I am having so much fun teaching the new guys how to do things when their out in the field!  I'm also excited because I just found out today that I'll be going back out in the field this year to visit a family!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be reassigned to "C" & "T" since I already know them and their house very well.  Well, I should go.  It's time for us to have our nightly hot chocolate and my mom made candy cane pie for snack... YUM!!
